Jul. 3rd, 2010 04:53 pmI bought some perfume samples from Lucky Scent. I've always been a bit apprehensive about perfumes; so often I loathe a strong scent. But I started reading some perfume blogs (how I wandered into one, I don't recall), and began to be seduced by their descriptions.

So far, success. It's a delicate floral that deepens a little as I wear it. Hmm.

extremely delicate, like the air after a summer rain. Top notes: bergamot, lemon and petit grain. Heart: orange blossom, wisteria (wisteria) and pansy. Base: tolu balm, white musk and amber.

Wistaria opens with a sparkle of bergamot and petitgrain that is soon washed over with lily of the valley, neroli, and essence of pansy. A whisper of white musk, gently sweetened by amber and deepened with tolu balsam, hugs the skin. The fragrance is soft, utterly feminine.
